We will meet at the ranch, 1644 Hartman lane. The archery range is located in the Sherwood Forest.  (If dropping off please do not come all the way back to the second parking lot but follow the road around to the drop off point and then exit. If you plan to stay then please park in the second parking lot and walk to range. It might be good to have boots handy due to it being a low level of the property and mud most likely will be an issue.) Each student will be instructed in:

• Basic equipment used for archery.
• How to practice stringing and unstringing the bow.
• Practice components for nocking, drawing, aiming and shooting on targets.
• Practice scoring and retrieving arrows.
• Be exposed to basic rules, competitions and etiquette of target archery.
• Practice stretching and warming up specifically for archery.
• Be encouraged to continue participation in Archery for its recreational, health, fitness and social benefits.

This will be for all ages over 8. (Adults are welcome!) Commitment is key and the students must be consistent. Knife throwing and axe throwing will also be added in as time allows. (If this is something you prefer your kids to not participate in please let us know.) Also moving targets and many other unique shooting skills will be taught. Certificates will be handed out for those that excel and accomplish set goals. Modest and appropriate athletic clothing will be required. Closed toed shoes will need to be worn or students may have to sit out.  Class Cost is $50 per student with a 40% discount per family member after the first. Register before August 12th 9pm and receive a 20% discount per student. Archery shirts available upon request.
