A program developed by Restoration Ranch

At Restoration Rec's our mission is to provide parents and their students a resource to be challenged physically, grow spiritually, and socialize in reality through physical education and sports.

Our Story

Restoration Rec began with that purpose of filling a gap we saw in our community. As Restoration Ranch began partnering with local homeschool groups we quickly realized the need for both kids and parents to have an outlet for releasing some energy. As we have developed this program and the hundreds of students have gone through this program we have honed in on a very unique and successful program.

Our main location is the Arena at 2300 Main st., Belleville. (The old Lindenwood campus) We are very excited to announce our second location Korte Recreation center at 1 Nagel Dr, Highland, IL 62249. Our program reaches ages as young as out of diapers and running around to SR in high school. With the younger kiddos it is mainly keeping them active and moving with games and fun activities. As the get older and reach the oldest age group the program gets more organized and stretching. With military PT testing, we aim for them to compete against themselves to see progress. We also train through more organized sports to teach the student how to work with a team and learn the basics of a wide variety of sports. With biblical character traits and principles taught in each class, we keep our focus centered on modeling a generation focus on "pressing for the prize of the high calling of Jesus Christ."

Our Vision for the PE program:

Our vision for our PE program and these locations is to develop a unique sports program for the homeschoolers in southern Illinois. We want to provide families that do not want to sacrifice church time on Sundays and their families spiritual growth because of too much time in sports, the high cost of being involved in sports, and the high pressure to be something that statistics say is extremely unlikely. We want to use this program to develop student athletes that challenge themself spiritually with the same principles as they challenge themself physically. We are currently waiting and praying for that person that has the same vision and ability to help us develop that dream to see many more lives restored for the glory of God!
